Karamea House is private and restful in a stunning setting just 12mins north of Whangarei and 40 mins from the famous Bay of Islands.
This 5000 square foot 2 storey Georgian style mansion represents country elegance with parklike grounds and outstanding gardens ranging from tropical to traditional. Visitors can use Karamea House as a base to explore and enjoy the scenic beauty of Northland and it's people, or to use as a retreat to relax and unwind.
Dinner can be a BBQ around the pool in summer with a beer and fine wines or in the Formal dining room by candlelight and open fire in winter. Breakfast alfresco overlooking the sheep and horse paddock or in the large country kitchen. Generous hospitality in a spacious and luxurious home.
